Актуальність дослідження проблеми самореалізації особистості у спорті як головний мегатренд є специфічною особливістю глобалізації, в контексті якої малодослідженими є соціоантропологічні виміри, пов’язані з людиною. Ця проблема виникає тому, що починається переосмислюватися феномен людини як суб’єкта спортивної діяльності. При цьому спортивна парадигма в умовах глобалізації починає переосмислюватися, так як має свої плюси і мінуси. Мета дослідження – концептуалізація самореалізації особистості у спорті як головний мегатренд глобального суспільства в контексті соціоантропологічних вимірів. Завдання дослідження : вивчення проблем управління спортом, що детермінуються масштабними трансформаціями (...) сучасного соціуму; дослідження принципів, на основі яких відбувається формування спортивної парадигми в умовах глобалізації; аналіз реалізації можливостей саморозвитку людини у світі спорту в умовах глобалізації; формування нової спортивної парадигми, яка дозволяє виявити міру співвіднесеності тенденцій спорту і потреб у розвитку сутнісних сил людини як їх родової сутності. Аналіз останніх досліджень і публікацій, з яких започатковано розв’язання даної проблеми: використання статей авторів Vizitei N., Voronkova, V.., Edensor, T.., Hambrecht, H. U., Holowchak, M., Reid H., Mechikoff, R., Morgan, W. J., Olexenko, R., Scott, R., в яких вирішуються проблеми людини та її самореалізації у світі спорту та соціоантропологічні засади, які є малодослідженими у сфері спорту. Методологія дослідження - антропологічний та соціоаксіологічний методи, що сприяють проникненню в світ спортивної людини, еволюції спортивної парадигми в умовах глобалізації, позначеною багатьма проблемами людино вимірності, так як спорт пов'язаний і з комерціалізацією. Наукова новизна – у виявленні проблем глобалізації, що впливають на спортивну людину, спортивну діяльність та в цілому на світ спорту. Результати дослідження : самореалізація людини у спорті в умовах глобалізації, що представляє якісну характеристику спортивного світу, започатковану різноманітними спортивними практиками спортивного світу та розкриває рух до інтеграції та цілісності. Висновок - концепція самореалізації особистості у спорті як головний мегатренд формування спортивної парадигми в умовах глобалізації потребують її доповнення соціоантропологічними виміри. (shrink)

The relevance of the study is the analysis of the concept of management sport and sports activities in the context of the educational paradigm of the philosophy combine philosophy and sport, management and education, pedagogy and psychology. Formulation of the task - managing concept of sports and its activities in the context of the educational paradigm of the philosophy of sport. The object of research is the management of sports and sports activities in the context of the educational paradigm of (...) the philosophy of sport. The subject of research is the formation of the concept of management of sports and sports activities in the context of the educational paradigm of the philosophy of sport. Analysis of recent research and publications. We rely on authors who had investigated sport as a management phenomenon, which acts as a factor in the formation and development of personality. The problem of individual self-determination as a philosophical problem is considered in the philosophical writings of S. Kierkegaard, K. Yaspers, M. Heidegger, J. P. Sartre, A. Kamyu and E. Fromma. The selection of unexplored parts of the general problem - in the context of sports managing educational paradigm and sport activities, was thought that both directions - sport and physical culture belong to the philosophy of sport, but often these two objects are reduced to even one - physical culture and sport are considered as an element the latter. Methodology of the research - the use of methods of system, structural, structural-functional, institutional as one that promotes deep penetration into the essence of the object and subject of research. Scientific novelty of the research. This scientific study involves applying to the socio-philosophical meaning of the concept of management of sports and sports activities in the context of the educational paradigm of the philosophy of sport. Description of the main material : the problems associated with the analysis of the physical culture, the main content of which is the process of socialization and "cultivation", socio-cultural modification of the body of man; the problems of humanization of sport, increase of its spiritual and moral value, competition of sport, the fate of certain sports competitions are revealed; to analyze conditions how to form humanitarian sports and to strengthen humane beginnings and various modes of human relations in sports practice; the functions of sport for all and sport for the few - for the highest achievements are found; is substantiated by improving the management of sports and sports activities in the context of the educational paradigm of the philosophy of sport. The article analyzes the cultural foundations of personality in the sport, which tempers the person both physically and spiritually; justified that in the context of philosophical and anthropological analysis of sport acts as a process of appropriation inherent powers of man; proved that anthropological examination of the world of sports is the completion of the process of objectification, that acts as a kind of self-reflection man is directed to the formation of integrity; clarified the issue of sexual dimorphism underlying sociocultural (...) differences in male and female sports. This article formed the theoretical foundation philosophy of man as an object of socio-philosophical reflection, which is one of the most modern post non-classical sciences, is of great theoretical significance for reflection feedbacks unified social organism. Analyzed the social dimensions of human cognition that are based on the fact that the man - a "reflective monad," guiding your mind on a natural existential dimension of life; defined the modern vision of man and the world, which is formed during the interaction (...) of different theoretical traditions and attitudes of flexible penetration into the essence of man; uncovered areas of social cognition, contributing versatile understanding of social space and social time. Methodology - methods of socioaxiological, socioatological and synergetic methods with approaches that allow to analyze a person as a complex of social phenomena and developing dynamic phenomena. The article deals with the problems of the person in the conditions of crisis society. The result of the research. It is proved that in the conditions of an informational society, a person turns into informational person who must learn to exist and adapt to the informational society. The article substantiates the conceptual vision of a man as an object of social and philosophical discourse and reflection. The author uses the possibility of philosophical analysis in order for a person to find a way out of crisis social situations, and formed a holistic view of a person. Conclusion. Possibilities of philosophical analysis allowed to propose their own vision of human problems in the conditions of crisis existence and development of a coherent concept of personality. The proposed article has some original in relation to the mechanisms of forming the reflection of the inverse relationships of individuals as a single social organism. The topic of the article deals with the phenomena of a person as an integral creature, which is a problem field that philosophy deals with as a love of wisdom and the search for the meaning of human life. Purpose. To turn to the diaries and journalistic works by Leo Tolstoy, to study the content and method of his religious and ethical search. To doubt the faithfulness of his interpretation of the evangelical message of Christ. Theoretical basis. The author proceeded from the necessity of a dialectical understanding of the concepts of nonviolence, mercy, justice and a cultural-historical focus on the possibilities of society in realizing the spirituality principles. Originality. The author focuses on the unilateral nature of the methodology (...) that Leo Tolstoy uses to deny violence, as well as on the ambiguous role of Tolstoy's ideology in the morality of society. Conclusions. The spiritual activities an individual person is able to do and that are instructive for society from the point of view of its moral influence may not be sufficient means for educating moral responsibility in a society as a whole. Tolstoy's methodological approach to justifying the absoluteness of nonviolence principle is one-sided and not productive for a true interpretation of the spiritual nature of the Christ’s message about love and mercy. We analyse the system of ethical review of human research in the Baltic States by introducing the principle of equivalent stringency of ethical review, that is, research projects imposing equal risks and inconveniences on research participants should be subjected to equally stringent review procedures. We examine several examples of non-equivalence or asymmetry in the system of ethical review of human research: (1) the asymmetry between rather strict regulations of clinical drug trials and relatively weaker regulations of other types of clinical (...) biomedical research and (2) gaps in ethical review in the area of non-biomedical human research where some sensitive research projects are not reviewed by research ethics committees at all. We conclude that non-equivalent stringency of ethical review is at least partly linked to the differences in scope and binding character of various international legal instruments that have been shaping the system of ethical review in the Baltic States. Therefore, the Baltic example could also serve as an object lesson to other European countries which might be experiencing similar problems. (shrink)

Standard models of adolescent risk taking posit that the cognitive abilities of adolescents and adults are equivalent, and that increases in risk taking that occur during adolescence are the result of socio emotional differences in impulsivity, sensation seeking, and lack of self-control. Fuzzy-trace theory incorporates these socio emotional differences. However, it predicts that there are also cognitive differences between adolescents and adults, specifically that there are developmental increases in gist-based intuition that reflects understanding. Gist understanding, as opposed to verbatim-based analysis, (...) generally has been hypothesized to have a protective effect on risk taking in adolescence. Gist understanding is also an essential element of informed consent regarding risks in medical decision- making. Evidence thus supports the argument that adolescents’ status as mature minors should be treated as an exception rather than a presumption, because accuracy in verbatim analysis is not mature gist understanding. Use of the exception should be accompanied by medical experts’ input on the bottom-line gist of risks involved in treatment. (shrink)

R&D collaborations between industry, government, civil society, and research ) have recently gained attention from R&D theorists and practitioners. In aiming to come to grips with their complexity, past models have generally taken a stakeholder-analytical approach based on stakeholder types. Yet stakeholder types are difficult to operationalise. We therefore argue that a processual model is more suited for studying the interaction in QHCs because it eschews matters of titles and identities. We develop such a model in which the QHC is (...) represented as a process of generating four types of value: research value, market value, political value, and societal value. We then apply this processual model in analysing real-life cases of friction in QHCs. Friction is seen, not as an interpersonal clash, but as a discrepancy between two or more value-creation processes that compete for limited resources. (shrink)

The objectives of the study are to determine the main trends and characteristics of the provision of services by Ukrainian travel companies over the past 10 years. Ukraine is explored in terms of domestic and international tourism (inbound and outbound). The study uses the data of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the data of the regional statistical offices, as well as the results of the author's calculations. Modern methods of global clustering and marketing segmentation, (...) using statistically significant data of quantitative and qualitative expert assessments, allow us to identify the development trend of the service of Ukrainian travel agencies. Завдання дослідження - визначення основних тенденції і характерних особливостей надання послуг українськими туристичними компаніями за останні 10 років. Досліджується Україна в розрізі внутрішнього та міжнародного туризму (в'їзного та виїзного). У дослідженні використовуються дані Всесвітньої організації туризму, Державної служби статистики України, дані регіональних управлінь статистики, а також результати авторських розрахунків. Сучасні методи глобальної кластеризації і маркетингової сегментації, з використанням статистично значущих даних кількісних і якісних експертних оцінок, дозволяють ідентифікувати тренд розвитку сервісу українських туристичних компаній. Purpose of this article is the historical reconstruction of the studies in philosophical anthropology in Soviet Ukraine. Theoretical basis. In the philosophical tradition of independent Ukraine, there is an opinion that at the intersection of the 1960s and 1970s, there was an anthropological turn in the national philosophical thought. The authors provide a holistic and comprehensive reconstruction of philosophical understanding of man in the works of Ukrainian thinkers of the Soviet era. Originality. It has been proved that before the emergence (...) of the Institute of Philosophy of the Soviet Ukraine Academy of Sciences and the restoration of the Philosophy Department at Kyiv State University, the writings of Ukrainian philosophers in the 1920s and 1930s emphasize specifically the "ideological" factor of human existence. Based on the materials of M. Maksymovych Academic Library and the library at H. Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, there have been revealed and traced the specific features and peculiarities of the transformation of main accents in philosophical and anthropological studies of Soviet Ukrainian researchers in the post-war period. Conclusions. The studied problems developed in Soviet Ukraine in two vectors. The focus was on man as a social phenomenon and a "product of ideology" on the one hand, and, on existential aspects of a human being with its internal contradictions, understanding of its nature and the sense of existence, on the other hand. It has been established that the anthropological problems were the focus of not only scientists of the Institute of Philosophy of the Soviet Ukraine Academy of Sciences, but also of teachers of Kyiv State University. The authors grounded the thesis that, unlike the 1940-1950s, when the focus was on philosophical problems of natural science and philosophical personology, the 1960s bring forward not only philosophical and anthropological studies but also ethical and aesthetic issues, logic and scientific atheism. Creativity in accordance with an ideal, the shaping of natural materials in accordance with an ideal, constitute a specifically human form of life-activity distinguishing it from the activity of animals. As a universal aspect of goal-directed activity, the ideal appears in all spheres of the life of society: social, political, moral, esthetic, etc. The category of the ideal (...) has profound social meaning. Over the centuries, progressive classes have, in the struggle against outdated forms of societal relations, embodied their enthusiasm in the high ideals of liberty, equality, and fraternity. In our day, the ideal of the laboring masses of the entire world is communism, the building of a communist society, which is being effectuated in the USSR. "Each new step toward the shining peaks of communism," states the CPSU Program, "inspires the laboring masses of all countries, and constitutes vast moral support in the struggle for the liberation of all peoples from social and national oppression, accelerates the triumph of the ideas of Marxism-Leninism on a world scale". A woman from the Republic of Ireland has successfully challenged the country's restrictive abortion legislation at the European Court of Human Rights. 1 The woman was in remission from cancer and believed that she was at increased risk of relapse due to her unintended pregnancy. She believed that continuing with the pregnancy would have put her life at risk. She travelled to England for an abortion in 2005 and subsequently experienced medical complications when she returned to Republic of Ireland. Abortion (...) in the Republic of Ireland is permitted if the life of the pregnant woman is at risk, but given the uncertainty around interpreting the legislation and the fear of criminal sanctions, the provision is not always effective in practice. The woman argued that her right to an abortion had been denied because there was no law or procedure through which she could have her clinical entitlement established. The ECtHR was unanimous that her right to private and family life had been violated but did not uphold her challenge under Articles 2, 3 and 14. The woman was joined by two other women in the challenge but the other women were unsuccessful as their circumstances differed; their lives had not been at risk if they had continued with their pregnancies. 2The Court concluded ‘that neither the medical consultation nor litigation options, relied on by the Irish government, constituted effective and accessible procedures which allowed [her] … to establish her right to lawful abortion in Ireland’.3At the time of writing, the Irish government was considering how to implement the judgement.Review of arm's-length bodiesAs previously reported here, in July 2010 the UK Government announced plans to reform and abolish a large number of arm's-length bodies. 4 …. Despite global and local attempts to end female genital mutilation , the practice persists in some parts of the world and has spread to non-traditional countries through immigration. FGM is of varying degrees of invasiveness, but all forms raise health-related concerns that can be of considerable physical or psychological severity. FGM is becoming increasingly prohibited by law, both in countries where it is traditionally practised and in countries of immigration. Medical practice prohibits FGM. The Italian parliament passed a law prohibiting (...) FGM, which has put in place a set of measures to prevent, to oppose and to suppress the practice of FGM as a violation of a person’s fundamental rights to physical and mental integrity and to the health of women and girls. The Italian law not only treats new offences but also wants to deal with the problem in its entirety, providing important intervention in all the sectors. Different kinds of interventions are considered, starting with the development of informative campaigns, training of health workers, institution of a tollfree number, international cooperation programmes and the responsibility of the institution where the crime is committed. Particularly, the law recognises that doctors have a role in eliminating FGM by educating patients and communities. (shrink)
